Position Overview
The Finance Department at New York University Stern School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance position starting September 2026. Responsibilities
Faculty at Stern are expected to:

Qualifications

  • A completed PhD in finance, economics, or a related field by the start date.
  • Evidence of strong research potential.
  • Demonstrated ability or clear potential to teach effectively across programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $246,000 – $346,000 (for a 9-month appointment).
  • Additional compensation (such as bonuses or incentives) may apply.
