Position Overview
Northeastern University invites applications for a joint faculty role in Supply Chain, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence. This is a full-time, tenure-track or tenured position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The role starts in Fall 2025 and is based mainly in Boston, Massachusetts. Academic Home and Collaboration
The primary appointment is in the Supply Chain and Information Management Group at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business. The secondary appointment is with the Khoury College of Computer Sciences. Research Focus and Expectations
Your research should align with Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems. Topics may include AI in supply chains, digital platforms, data-driven decision making, or smart operations. Teaching and Student Engagement
Teaching makes up about 40 percent of the role. You will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems, AI, and supply chain topics. Course load depends on rank and fit. Service and Academic Leadership

A completed doctorate is required by the start date. Fields may include Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, Operations, or Supply Chain. Associate Professor candidates need at least five years of experience. Full Professor candidates need at least seven years. A strong record in research and teaching is essential. A clear interest in diverse learners and hands-on education is also key.

Salary and Benefits
Assistant Professor salary range is $164,000 to $206,000 per year. Associate Professor salary range is $181,000 to $221,000 per year. Pay depends on experience, skills, and role fit. The university offers strong benefits, including health care, retirement plans, paid time off, and tuition support.
