About the Accounting and Finance Department
This department offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees with majors in Accounting and Finance. The Finance major includes concentrations in Financial Analysis, Financial Services, and Investment Fund Management. These paths prepare students for top industry certifications, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. Faculty here support students through innovative teaching, mentorship, and professional development.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As Senior Lecturer, you will teach a broad range of finance courses in the BBA (Finance) program. Expect to lead the equivalent of nine three-hour classes per week each academic year, with teaching times that may vary (daytime and evening). Your duties include:
• Course Instruction: Prepare outlines, teach classes, develop lessons, manage a D2L course site, and assess student work.
• Administration: Keep office hours, enter final grades, and participate in meetings with faculty.
• Service: Contribute to your department and faculty by helping with course coordination, attending committee meetings, mentoring student case competitions, and organizing guest speaker events.

Who Should Apply
You must have a master’s degree in finance from an accredited school and experience teaching finance at the post-secondary level. Successful candidates may also bring:
• Professional experience in finance
• A CFA or CFP designation
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• An interest in academic development and seminars
