Position Overview
New York University’s School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor role in the graduate Marketing program, Division of Programs in Business. This is a nine-month, renewable faculty position, starting Fall 2025. The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $145,000. The final rank will depend on experience and qualifications.

About the Opportunity
Join NYU SPS and help shape two leading programs: the Master of Science in Integrated Marketing and the Executive Master in Strategic Marketing and Communication. Faculty in this role will teach graduate courses, design curriculum, mentor students, build industry connections, and advance the academic profile of the Marketing programs. You’ll work closely with both academic and industry leaders to ensure students develop practical, job-ready skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level courses such as Brand Strategy, Managing Products and Brands, Channel and Sales Management, Campaign Management, and related subjects.
  • Lead applied research in brand management, product management, sales, or advertising.
  • Strengthen industry partnerships to boost the program’s connections, especially in advertising and brand management.
  • Support program development and participate in advancing the division’s mission.
  • Work closely with the Associate Dean, Academic Director, and Chair to enhance the Marketing program’s impact and visibility.
  • Be an active member of the NYU SPS academic community, contributing to research, pedagogy, and partnerships.

What We Look For

  • Doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • Senior industry experience in brand management, brand strategy, or advertising.
  • At least three years of teaching experience at the graduate level.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging coursework in marketing.
  • Experience working with and supporting a diverse student population.
  • Strong professional network in brand management or advertising.
