Position Overview
The Harbert College of Business at Auburn University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Marketing. Teaching and Research Responsibilities
The standard teaching load for tenured faculty is 2/2. Untenured faculty typically benefit from a reduced teaching load, fewer course preparations, and access to summer support and research funding. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research pipeline, producing high-quality publications in leading academic journals. A strong commitment to excellent teaching in business administration faculty jobs and meaningful engagement with students and the broader business community is essential. Faculty members are also expected to contribute to departmental, college, and university service, supporting a collaborative culture.

About the Marketing Department and Programs
The Auburn Marketing program supports an undergraduate major, marketing and professional sales minors, and MBA programs. The Marketing department is the second-largest major in the Harbert College of Business. Our team includes nineteen full-time, professionally qualified faculty committed to impactful research, innovative teaching, and a supportive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a doctorate in marketing or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution at the time of employment. Applicants must demonstrate strong research potential, a passion for teaching excellence in business administration faculty jobs, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. A collaborative spirit is essential.
