Assistant Professor of Marketing

Position Overview
The Department of Business Administration in the School of Business and Digital Media at Lakewood, NJ, is seeking a dedicated full-time faculty member for a tenure-track or non-tenure-track position in Marketing. Key Responsibilities

• Teach a range of marketing courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, including the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication.
• Support students by providing strong academic advising and mentorship.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of business school jobs in areas like marketing, sales, and digital marketing.
• Engage in curriculum development, integrating technology and innovative teaching methods.
• For tenure-track roles, pursue scholarly activities and maintain professional engagement in marketing fields.
• Advise student research projects and support departmental service needs.
• Foster a classroom environment grounded in respect, compassion, integrity, justice, and service.
• Perform some administrative tasks as assigned by the Department Chair.

Teaching Load

• Tenure-track: 24 credits per academic year (12 per semester)
• Non-tenure-track: 30 credits per academic year (15 per semester)

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Marketing or a related business discipline (ABD considered).
• Teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Professional experience or willingness to teach in marketing, sales, digital marketing, or related fields.
• Record of research and scholarship, with ongoing engagement in the profession (for tenure-track).
• Experience developing curriculum and integrating technology into teaching.
• Commitment to diversity and collaborative work.
• Ability to teach across multiple modalities: face-to-face, online, hybrid, and in varied time formats (day, evening).
• Willingness to learn and use instructional technologies such as internet-based platforms and Blackboard.

Salary
Annual salary range: $52,000 – $58,000, based on experience and qualifications.
