Position Overview
The College of Business at Colorado State University is seeking applications for a full-time, nine-month tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Computer Information Systems. This role focuses on teaching, research, and service within a vibrant academic community dedicated to business administration faculty excellence. The anticipated start date is August 2026.

Salary and Benefits
The proposed annual salary range is $150,000 to $175,000, depending on rank and experience. About the Department
The Department of Computer Information Systems, one of five departments in CSU’s AACSB-accredited College of Business, is a leader in information systems education. With about 200 undergraduate and 200 graduate students, the department offers both on-campus and online Master of Computer Information Systems (MCIS) programs, recognized among the nation’s top 20. Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Advising (40%): Prepare and deliver computer information systems courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Research (50%): Conduct and publish high-quality research in information systems or a related field.
  • Service (10%): Participate in department, college, university, and discipline-level service, including committee work and academic society activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (or ABD with expected completion before start date) in Information Systems or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated potential to publish in premier scholarly journals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Articles published or accepted in top information systems journals
  • Evidence of an active research pipeline
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness
  • Interest in teaching courses on cybersecurity, data management, analytics, machine learning, or AI
