The Finance Department at Bentley University invites applications for two Lecturer in Finance positions, beginning in Fall 2025. These business school faculty jobs offer an opportunity to teach both undergraduate and graduate finance courses in areas such as investments, corporate finance, FinTech, sustainable and impact investing, and finance in the clean energy economy. The expected teaching load is eight courses per academic year, and the salary is competitive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses, with a preference for expertise in investments, corporate finance, and FinTech.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging course content that enhances student learning.
  • Support the university’s commitment to experiential learning by engaging students in practical applications of financial concepts.
  • Contribute to the Finance Department’s initiatives, including student organizations such as the Bentley Investment Group and Bentley Sustainable Investment Group.
  • Maintain active participation in departmental activities and service responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Finance or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching finance courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching specialized finance topics such as FinTech, sustainable investing, or financial analytics.
  • Ability to mentor students and participate in extracurricular initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ, Morningstar Direct).
