George Fox University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in marketing, beginning in August 2025. We seek candidates with the ability to teach a broad range of undergraduate, MBA, and DBA marketing courses, with a preference for those specializing in digital marketing. The successful candidate will also engage in scholarly activities, mentor doctoral students, supervise internships, advise students, and fulfill other faculty responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate marketing courses, including digital marketing, market research, and marketing management.
  • Engage with professional marketing communities.
  • Advise students and supervise internships.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with students, colleagues, and the public.
  • Serve as a Christian role model in both professional and personal conduct.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Earned doctorate in Marketing or a closely related field (ABD candidates considered).
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
  • Commitment to the university's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in Marketing and expertise in digital marketing.

Rank and Salary

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated, though candidates with significant teaching experience may be considered for Associate Professor. Compensation and benefits are competitive with peer institutions.
