Franklin University Switzerland invites applications for a full-time, renewable position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing/Management, beginning in August 2025. This role offers a clear promotion pathway and the opportunity to engage with a dynamic, multinational academic community.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing, Management, or Business Administration at the time of hire. We seek individuals with a strong commitment to undergraduate education, particularly within a North American-style liberal arts and sciences framework.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Marketing in an interdisciplinary manner, integrating business concepts with the liberal arts and sciences in a global context. A demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines, apply innovative pedagogical methods (including experiential and project-based learning), and establish connections between Franklin’s classrooms and external partners in Switzerland and beyond is highly desirable.
Faculty at Franklin typically teach six courses per year (18 credit hours / 36-38 ECTS), including one with an integrated Academic Travel component—a distinctive feature of Franklin’s international, interdisciplinary curriculum. The successful candidate will contribute to Marketing and Business courses within the Business and Economics division, helping to shape the curriculum to reflect emerging trends and student needs.

The successful candidate will maintain an active research agenda, publishing in peer-reviewed journals in Marketing or related fields. Franklin values faculty who integrate research with teaching and fosters collaboration both within and beyond the institution.
Faculty responsibilities extend beyond teaching and research to include academic advising, student mentorship, and participation in university committees.
