Job Summary
The School of Management at Canadian University Dubai invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor – Management. We seek accomplished educators and researchers who will contribute to our business school’s academic excellence by delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in impactful research, and actively participating in curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in management within the program.
  • Support the Program Chair/Coordinator in daily academic and administrative operations.
  • Ensure curriculum compliance with university standards and UAE Ministry of Higher Education requirements.
  • Engage in teaching, research, curriculum development, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Contribute to administrative duties and university service activities.

Teaching and Academic Duties

  • Instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in Management.
  • Develop, update, and deliver course syllabi in alignment with program goals.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure timely submission of grades.
  • Provide student mentorship and academic advising, particularly for at-risk students.
  • Recommend and develop learning resources to enhance student engagement.
  • Supervise independent studies and research projects.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in the field through research and professional engagement.

Administrative and Community Engagement

  • Advise students during registration periods and academic counseling sessions.
  • Attend faculty and departmental meetings.
  • Participate in faculty orientation programs and professional development workshops.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives that align with CUD’s mission.
  • Contribute to the School of Management’s accreditation efforts.
  • Represent CUD in professional conferences and networking events.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field from a QS top 500-ranked university, preferably from a Western-accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
  • A strong record of research publications in highly ranked Scopus-indexed journals.
  • Experience in Canadian higher education institutions is preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
